THE MUSEUM
In the Museum Holambra you will discover the history of Holambra, the Brazilian city, located in the state of São Paulo, founded in 1948 by Dutch immigrants.
In the museum photo hall you’ll find a large collection of photographs, films and objects from the early colonization period, which shows all the ins and outs of the Dutch immigration. Tractors and other agricultural equipment are exhibited in the open air part of the museum. Further, there are two replicas of typical houses the Dutch lived in during the beginning of the colonization. Looking around in these replicas, furnished as it was in those days, you truly experience how life for the first immigrants was.
